Here are a few of the things going on in in the coming days.

1 Artifact Road Show: From 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Mount Magazine Visitor Center classroom you can view the park’s collection of historical artifacts not normally on display. Here is also an opportunity to donate to the collection items pertaining to Mount Magazine’s history. Of special interest are old photographs showing people and buildings on the mountain. There is no admission fee.

2 Guys and Dolls: Community School of the Arts (CSA) will be presenting Guys and Dolls Saturday and Sunday, at 7 p.m. each night, at the ArcBest Performing Arts Center in Fort Smith. The play is a a musical romantic comedy involving the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary; a showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow and a manager who is anything but. Performed by a national award-winning cast, this timeless classic is a must-see for all ages. The show is filled with singing and dancing and includes famous numbers like “Luck Be A Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat”. This is sure to be a high-energy show that the entire family will enjoy. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children and $5 per person for groups of 20 or more. Many of the students in this cast were formerly part of the UAFS Academy of the Arts and have won national awards on multiple occasions for their work in several musicals, including Shrek, Mary Poppins, Addams Family, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

3 See the cars: The 30th Annual Greenwood Car Show will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, on the Greenwood Town Square. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. all all classic cars, muscle car, motorcycles and others are invited to participate in a free Main Street cruise night in Lavaca. The event is sponsored by the Lavaca Area Chamber of Commerce and Steffey’s Pizza.
