Subiaco Academy will hold its Spring Carnival on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Subiaco Academy Fieldhouse.

This evening will be filled with great family fun and entertainment. The event will feature bingo, bounce houses, activities for the entire family including a well-stocked country store, favorite children’s games, and entertainment by the Subiaco Academy Jazz Ensemble.

The food court will be serving hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, tacos, egg rolls, and jambalaya as well as delicious desserts. Wine tasting will be provided by Post Winery, and back this year will be craft beer tasting from Leap of Faith Brewery. There an array of prizes in the silent and live auctions, including many items handrafted by the monks of Subiaco Abbey.

Prior to the event, there is an online auction featuring a church pew from St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. The pew will be cut to the winner’s desired length and delivered by monks of Subiaco Abbey. Also available for bidding are a guided duck hunt for four people and a custom made cedar chest or bench made by Br. Adrian Strobel and Br. Jude Schmitt. The first prize for this year’s carnival raffle is an Intimidator 4 x 4 Utility Vehicle. A $1,000 Dillard’s gift is the second prize, and a tablet is third prize.
