Easter drama to be staged

Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 1110 S. 12th St., will stage its Easter drama during the 9:01 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship services Sunday. The event will include music, acting and an illustrated sermon depicting the Easter story.

Easter services planned

Central Presbyterian Church, 2901 Rogers Ave., will hold its Palm Sunday worship service and Communion by Intinction beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. An after-worship fellowship lunch will follow.

The church also will host a Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall, followed by a meal. Good Friday services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, and Easter worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. April 1.

Grace Lutheran holding special services

Grace Lutheran Church will hold its Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. Thursday and its Good Friday service at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 18218 U.S. 71 South in Greenwood. Grace Lutheran also will host an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 1 at the church. The men of the congregation will prepare and serve breakfast from 8-9:30 a.m. Then the regular Easter worship service will begin at 10 a.m.

Student creates Easter pageant

Arron McAllister, 18, of Fort Smith has written the script and music for "There is Passion," the Easter production that will be staged at 10:30 a.m. April 1 at Howard Hill Assembly, 3515 Gate Nine Road in Greenwood. The Greenwood High School senior also will direct the production.

Christ for the World plans event

Christ for the World Church, 4401 Windsor Drive, will host its “Increase 2018 The Greater Is Here” event April 11-15. Speakers include Dr. Aretha Wilson, Prophetess Teresa Hogan, Evangelist Don Nelson, Prophet Bobby Hogan and Prophet Bennie Baker.
