Entries are being sought for the annual Logan County Fair Pageant. The Logan County Fair Pageant is open to young women ages birth to 21.
The categories for the pageant are Miss Logan County Fair Queen - ages 16 to 21; Princess ages 12to 15; Sweetheart ages nine to 11; Little Miss ages five to eight; Tiny Miss for ages two to four; and Teeny Miss for ages birth to 23 months.
Queen and Princess contestants will be judged on interview, fair wear, formal wear and an on-stage question. Queen and Princess contestants must live in Logan County.
Sweetheart, Little Miss, Tiny Miss, and Teeny Miss contestants will be judged on formal wear, fair wear and an onstage question.
All contestants will be judged on beauty, poise, and personality. Winners will receive a crown, sash, and flowers or a gift.
The Queen will receive scholarship money and be eligible to compete in the Arkansas State Fair Queen Pageant. The scholarship amount will be awarded based on the number of contestants competing in the Queen division. The Princess winner will be eligible to compete at the Arkansas State Fair Princess Pageant.
An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Logan County Fair building. Rehearsal will be held on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. for Little, Tiny, and Teeny Miss Contestants and 3 p.m. for Queen, Princess, and Sweetheart contestants in the Paris Middle School auditorium.
Contestants will be required to sell $1 raffle tickets to be turned in on the day of rehearsal. Entrance into the pageant will be $1.
