Officials with the Fort Smith Museum of History are offering a $1,300 reward for information leading to the recovery of an artifact that belonged to Judge Isaac C. Parker.

Museum employees discovered the artifact, a gold, lizard-shaped tie pin, was missing Thursday afternoon. The artifact is "one of the very few items remaining" that belonged to Judge Parker, according to a news release from the Fort Smith Police Department.

Officers and detectives with the Fort Smith Police Department were called to the Museum, 320 Rogers Ave., after employees discovered the artifact was missing, the release states.

Officials with the Police Department ask that anyone with information about the missing artifact call the Police Department at (479) 709-5100 or Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME. Information given to Crime Stoppers leading to an arrest in connection with the missing artifact may be rewarded up to $1,000, the release states.
