Fort Smith police are investigating a reported knifepoint robbery in south Fort Smith.

According to an incident report, a man told police a person he knew by name had robbed him at his friend's apartment for his casino winnings of $1,326 on April 11. The man said he doesn't remember the name of the apartment complex where the robbery took place, but remembered it was on Dallas Street.

The person listed in the report, who was arrested on suspicion of unrelated misdemeanor charges on April 14, did not harm the man he reportedly robbed, the report states.

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call the Fort Smith Police Department at (479) 709-5100, or Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME, where information leading to an arrest may earn up to $1,000.
