For several matches, Prescott Curley Wolves and Lady Wolves golfers have kept themselves busy on the road in varsity competition, but finally return to their own territory last Thursday for their season home-opener at the Prescott Country Club. PHS golfers hosted Nashville, Bismarck and Ashdown for nine-holes of boys and girls varsity golf action.

PHS golfers hosted Nashville, Bismarck and Ashdown for nine-holes of boys and girls varsity golf action.
Prescott's No. 1 boys golfer Mr. Tyler Doucet displayed another stellar performance to earn medalist with the overall top score shooting 38 in the varsity boys match. Prescott's No. 2 boys golfer Mr. Carter Neal recorded the second best score of the evening shooting 45 and just seven strokes behind his partner Doucet. Ashdown Panthers and Bismarck both recorded a team total of 156.
In the varsity girls match, Prescott Lady Wolves golfers Brooke Formby and Kamryn Collier finished the evening productively against Ashdown, Nashville and Bismarck golf teams. Formby shot 53 and Collier shot 58 for Prescott. Nashville's Ellen Spigner earn medalist honors with the top score in the girls match shooting 38.
Prior to Prescott season home-opener, PHS golfers competed in match competition at Glenwood Country Club against Lake Hamilton, Centerpoint and Nashville. In varsity boys competition, Doucet earned medalist shooting 78 for the overall top performance. Neal recorded a productively score shooting 93 to top nine golfers representing Nashville, Centerpoint and Lake Hamilton. In varsity girls competition, Lady Wolves golfers Collier shot 58 and Formby shot 57 to almost tie one another for their performance for individual competition.
In Bismarck at Lake DeGray Golf Course, PHS golfers faced off against Bismarck and Lake Hamilton. In varsity boys competition, Doucet shot 48 to fall just four strokes from Lake Hamilton's Caleb Dodd 44 with the top score. Neal for Prescott finished the evening shooting 58 for another productive match performance. In varsity girls competition, Lady Wolves golfers Collier shot 59 and Formby shot 64 for Prescott.
Prescott head golf coach Beau Brickell continues to encourage his golfers to keep the competitive play progressing as they're improving their abilities in each match. Coach Brickell has observed positive input from his golfers and looks for a productive challenge once district tournament arrives to qualify to compete at state.
Today at 3:30 p.m., Prescott's fantastic four golfers return to match competition on the road to compete against Foreman at Little River Golf Course.
