Pamela Darlene James, 53 of Paris, passed away on March 31, 2017 in Paris.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1963 in Merced, Calif. to James Stephen and Millie (Malding) Hood.

She was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Paris. She is preceded in death by her father, James Stephen Hood.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Linda Ritter.

She is survived by her husband, Vick L. James of Paris; her mother, Millie Hood of Charleston; three daughters, Kristy Rice of Paris, Lindsey James of Paris and Haley James of Fort Smith; one son, Joe Rice of Paris; three brothers, Robert Hood of Dinuba, Calif., James D. Hood of Paris and John Hood of Charleston; 11 grandchildren and the father of her children Michael Rice of Paris.

Pallbearers were Robert Hood, James Hood, Johnathan Hood, Jeff Bunch, Michael Camp and Josh Aladai.

Honorary pallbearer was Dewayne James.
