Richard “Rick” Horne, 66 of Fort Smith, Ark., went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, May 26, 2017 in Fort Smith.
He was born on Sept. 8, 1950 in Merced, Calif. to his parents Harlen Ray and Pauline (Crowell) Horne. Rick was raised in Midway, Ark. and was a childhood member of Midway Assembly of God and was a retired brick mason.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harlen Ray Horne and his stepson, Kyle Hamby.
He is survived by his wife of 21years, Carrie (Ray) Horne of Fort Smith; his mother, Pauline (Crowell) Horne of Fort Smith; two daughters, Nikki Bradley of Paris and Farrah Nipper of Muldrow, Oklahoma; one son, Ryan Horne of Greenwood; his loving dog, Sadie; two step-daughters, Chelsea Thompson of Fort Smith and Ashley Hamby of Cookson, Oklahoma; three sisters, Linda Lipe of Fort Smith, Robin Horne of Fort Smith and Audrey McCague and husband Mark of Fayetteville; two brothers, Michael Horne of Fort Smith and Greg Horne and wife Kerrie of Hobbs, New Mexico; eight grandchildren, Trevin Smith, Nicholas Smith, William Collins, Samuel Collins, Payton Horne, Raegan Horne, Camden Horne and Foster Tallant; one great-grandson, Jaxon Smith; two step-grandchildren, Kyson and Sawyer Hamby; four nieces, Amanda Lipe, Holland Kennerson, Lindsey Conner and Whitney Johnston and two nephews, Carson Horne and Cutter Horne.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by the Rev. James Findley and the Rev. Randy Findley.
