Lawrence Joseph Schluterman, 60 of Subiaco passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1957 in Paris to his parents Emil J. and Patricia (Geels) Schluterman. He was a United States Army veteran stationed in Korea, worked as a flooring specialist for many years and was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.

He is preceded in death by his father, Emil J. Schluterman and his sister, Margaret Ann Schluterman.

Rosary service was held at 7:45 p.m., on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.

Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m., on Friday, June 9, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel O.S.B.

Burial followed in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Jo Murray of Scranton; sons, Joey Schluterman of Chicago, Ill. and David Schluterman of Subiaco; his mother, Patricia (Geels) Schluterman of Subiaco; two sisters, Janie Karns of Charleston and Judy Schlaf of Subiaco; six brothers, Michael “ML” Schluterman of Fort Smith, Charles Schluterman of Scranton, Victor Schluterman of Subiaco, Vincent Schluterman of Subiaco, Justin Schluterman of Subiaco and Walter Schluterman of Hartford; and three grandchildren.
