Diana Jean Corley Schortner, who resided in Paris, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her home.

She was born August 23, 1957, in Turlock, California to J.C. Corley and Reva Jean Arment Corley. Diana was 59 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother; Reva Jean; one sister, Dana Crane; and one brother, J.C. Corley, Jr.

Diana was a homemaker, a caregiver, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving wife to her husband, and a loving mother to her children. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be at Paint Rock Cemetery, located south of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Schortner; one daughter, Rebecca Stephens and husband Michael of Paris; one son, Chris Schortner and wife Casey of Scranton; her father, J.C. Corley of Paris; two brothers, Darin Corley and wife Cecilia of Missouri and David Corley and wife Paula of Paris; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tim Crane, Steven Crane, Michael Stephens, Jeremiah Young, Dustin Corley and Leon Corley.

Family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
