Mildred E. Schluterman, 93 of Subiaco passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was born on January 31, 1924 in Coldwater, Ohio to her parents, John and Philomena (Kremer) Ahrns. She was a retired case worker with the Department of Human Services and a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church and Mother’s Society.

Mildred was always very active in her community serving for many years on the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, she was member of the EH Club, served on the Paris Museum board and received the Golden Harvest award in 2003. When she wasn’t working or volunteering her time she loved to quilt and was a master gardener.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Philomena (Kremer) Ahrns; her husband William T. Schluterman; her sister, Dolores Ahrns; her two brothers, Louis and Richard Ahrns and her special uncle, Dick Kremer.

She is survived by her daughters, Dolores Shelby of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Marilyn Bauer and husband Rick of Springfield, Missouri, Kathy Castellane of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Sandra Allred and husband Edward of Springdale, Arkansas; her son, Bill Schluterman and wife Karen of Subiaco; ten grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

A rosary service will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/paris
