Service for Margaret Dyer, 89, of Roland will be at 8:30 a.m. today at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. Burial will follow at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Service. She was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Paris to Grace Viola Haines Flock and Pete Joseph Flock and passed away Jan. 10, 2018, in Fort Smith. She was married to Bill J. Dyer on March 14, 1947, in Van Buren. She was a homemaker and member of Roland Assembly of God.

Survivors are one daughter, Beverly Falkner of Fort Smith; one son, Jerry Dyer and wife Sharon of McAlister, Okla.; three grandchilren, Rolanda Falkner, Jerry Britt Dyer and wife Jolyn, and Brandt Dyer; one great-granddaughter, Bryn Dyer; several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill J. Dyer; and her parents, Pete and Grace Flock.

Active pallbearers will be Britt Dyer, Brandt Dyer, Nick Bennett, Bo Munholland, Dillin Munholland, Danny Shamblin and Joe Shamblin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Dyer, Mike Henson and Mike Hunter .

Viewing was 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow. The family greeted friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
