Ida Ruth (Mask) Bryant, who resided in Prairie View, Arkansas, gained her angel wings Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
She was born December 20, 1933, in Prairie View to the late Jack and Mary Ilene (Thompson) Cauldwell. She was 84 years young. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Roy Odean and Billy Faye Mask; her daughters, Mary (Mask) Wilson and Sharon Stinnett; and her brother, Ivan Cauldwell.
Ruth worked at Lady Fair Mills in Ratcliff. She was a nurses aide, a waitress, and she was a homemaker. She was also a devoted mother and grandma.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Kenny Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Prairie View, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Fred Bryant; her son, Russell Mask and wife Donna of Balch Springs, Texas; one sister, Jackilene Beck and husband Tommy of Scranton; her brothers, Bobby Cauldwell of Prairie View, Russell Lee Cauldwell and wife Shirley of Tull, Arkansas, Darrell Faye Cauldwell and wife Helen of North Little Rock, and Billy Harold Cauldwell and wife Pat of Stevens, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and one spoiled and loved dog, Tina.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Stinnett, Daniel Stinnett, David Stinnett, James Wilson, Justin Little and Jonathon Little.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughter, Lisa Appleton and her great-granddaughter, Britnee Appleton.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
