Paula (Pitchford) Maes, 77, a resident of Fort Smith passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at her home.
She was born March 7, 1940, in Paris to the late Paul and Ethel Mae (Weeks) Pitchford. Paula spent her working years as the billing clerk for the City of Paris for 20 years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and knitting. In addition to her parents Paula was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Maes, a daughter, Donna Caldwell; a great-grandson, Dustin Lee Justice Rose and an aunt, Nova Boyd.
Survivors include a son, David Caldwell of Fort Smith; a daughter, Kathy Walker of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Don Pitchford of Roland, Okla.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at the Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with the Rev. Tammy Frederick officiating.
