Johnny Wayne Dixon, 65, a resident of New Blaine passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, at his home.

He was born March 3, 1953, in New Blaine to the late James Arthur and Verna Marie (Davidson) Dixon. Johnny married Patricia Ann Brewer on June 4, 1975, in Paris. He spent his working years farming and driving a truck for Tyson Foods. He was a cowboy from the moment he was born. He enjoyed riding horses, wagon riding, raising and training teams of horses, camping and most importantly spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patricia Dixon of New Blaine; two daughters, Annie and Belinda Dixon, both of New Blaine; a brother, Billy Dixon of New Blaine.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the New Blaine Church of Christ with Bro. Darin Downs officiating. Pallbearers will be Craig Davis, Cody Dare, Edward Brewer, Jerry Brewer, Tommy Beasley and Randy Schluterman. Bill Jack Parker and Gerald Davis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
