Guy Buckner, 95, of Ratcliff, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Charleston.

He was a retired shipping clerk for Tyson Food, a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Roseville Baptist Church. He was born Dec. 1, 1922 in Hills Chapel Franklin County, Arkansas to Charlie and Cora Acord Buckner. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; five sisters; and two grandsons, Cevin Mantooth and Casey Thomas.

Funeral service was held 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Clyde Vire officiating and burial at Carpenter Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Caroline O’Bar Buckner of Ratcliff; a daughter, Carolyn Mantooth of Paris, three sons, Lindel Buckner of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Richard Buckner of Laredo, Texas, and Randy Buckner of Paris; a sister, Mary Skelton of Ozark; and seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
