Karen Ann (Brooks) Garren, 65, a resident of Knoxville, formerly of Paris passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was born Oct. 6, 1952, in Paris to the late Jasper Jack and Emma Agnes (Tygart) Brooks. She married Jefferson James Garren on Aug. 24, 1970, in Charleston. Karen devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. She was a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Lewis and a brother, Guy Brooks.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jeff Garren of Knoxville; two daughters, Sherry Wood of Springdale and Kathy Moore of Charleston; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Brooks of Scranton and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Caulksville Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Online obituary and guestbook available at www.rollerfunerahomes.com.
