Ratha Lane, 90, of Kibler, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014.

She was born April 22, 1924 in Shoal Creek to the late James and Lela Burnham. She was a member of the Faith Chapter 334 of Eastern Star of Carl Junction, Mo. for over 50 years; and a member of Kibler United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Lane; a sister, Joyce Farnam; and three brothers, Larry Burnham, J.H. Burnham, and Gene Iven Burnham.

Funeral service was Friday, May 2, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Cochran of Madison, Ala., and Lequetta Yates of Kibler; a son, James Lane of Kibler; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Steve Burnham, Pat Burnham, Paul Cochran, Jamie Lane, Mark Lane, and Mickey Lane. Darrell Stephens served as honorary pallbearer.
