Back in the mid-1950s, the County Line Indians reached back-to-back post-season berths. Then came another in 1963.

County Line finished third at the regional tournament earlier this week with a 9-3 win over Scranton. Gage Gattis, who finished 6-for-10 in the tournament, was the winning pitcher. In the tournament, Gattis drove in five runs and also threw out three base runners.
Booneville (26-7) earned a first-round bye and won't play until midday Friday. The Bearcats' 26 wins has already eclipsed last year's school record for wins at 24.
The Bearcats will play either Monticello or Heber Springs Friday.
The Magazine Rattlers earned the No. 2 seed in Monday's 2A-West/Central regional with Conway Christian. Despite the 12-6 loss, the Rattlers are a win away from their 20th of the season.
