After rain delayed the start of the Regional Tournament, Paris traveled to Greenland to play the host Pirates on Friday.

On paper, everything favored the top-seeded host, and the game would turn that way early, before Greenland tacked on plenty of insurance runs in the 12-2 loss.

The Eagles season ends with an 8-17 record in a season of adjustment, with the new pitching rules and many underclassmen fielding significant roles. Though they played a tough regular season schedule, the post-season tournaments did not favor the Eagles who went 1-3, winning their opening game before dropping the final three.

Paris will now look to building on the young core of players that will return for the 2018 season.
