Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Logan County is planning the Fifth Annual Golf Tournament at Little Creek Golf Club in Ratcliff on July 8 with registration at 9 a.m. and start at 10 a.m.

It will be a two-person scramble with monetary and golf-related prizes for winners. For a hole-in-one the Ft. Smith Golf Cars is offering a 2017 Yamaha Golf Cart.

The purpose of the tournament is to raise money to support the single parents of Logan County who are attending school to improve their lives and the lives of their children. SPSFLC awarded 96 scholarships in the past three years to single parents seeking a post-secondary degree or technical training. SPSFLC is working to raise money to continue to support these very motivated single parents. This golf tournament is the organization’s big fund raiser and the money it raises determines just how many scholarships it can provide for the spring, summer and fall of this year.
