The Subiaco Academy Trojans were defeated by the Lamar Warriors on Friday, Sept. 8. The loss evens the season record at 1-1.

The Warriors had a total of 416 yards on offense, compared to Subiaco’s offensive total of 80 yards. Defensively the Trojans’ leading tacklers were Gage Lee, Thomas Myers, Jordan Rainwater, Ryland Estes, and Tom Johns.

On Friday, Sept. 1, the Trojans defeated the Brinkley Tigers at Rebsamen Stadium 15-8.

In the second quarter Tom Johns tackled the Tiger runner in the end zone for a safety. Dodge Mendenhall then scored on a 3-yard run. Jordan Rainwater scored in the fourth quarter on a 31-yard pass from Luke Hertlein. Leading the Subiaco offense were Mendenhall with 109 rushing yards and Rainwater with 70 yards rushing and 31 yards receiving, Hertlein with 65 yard passing, and Rainwater with 31 yards receiving. Gage Lee led the Trojan defense with 10 tackles, followed by Thomas Bourgeois with 5 tackles, Ryland Estes with 5, and Tom Johns with 4.
