Paris High School will celebrate Homecoming with a number of activities on Friday.
The day before Homecoming, Roberta Brown, homecoming queen of Paris High School in 1935, sent wishes for the team and class of 2017, saying good luck in the game. Brown will be 99 in a few weeks and lives in Paris.
Homecoming events begin at 12:15 p.m with a homecoming assembly at the Paris Middle School Auditorium. Homecoming skits will begin at 12:45 p.m.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the annual homecoming parade will commence. The parade will end at Veterans Park (formerly City Park) where a pep rally will take place at 2:15 p.m.
At 5 p.m., alumni and friends are invited to a free barbecue tailgate dinner, sponsored by First National Bank of Paris and Paris Ford. It will take place just outside the main gate to Eagles Stadium.
At 6:15 p.m., homecoming royalty will be presented inside Eagles Stadium.
At 7 p.m., the game between the Paris Eagles and the Two Rivers Gators will kick off.
The public invited to each of these events.
