After spending the last several months taking ownership of giving their last game away to Cave City in state play, the Subiaco Academy Trojans finally have the opportunity to rid themselves of that sour taste.

The Trojans return lots of experience and almost all scoring and rebounding with Tyler Komp, James Taylor, Elvis Janga, Devin Forest, Tom Myers, and Bryce Tencleve. The Trojans will have to find the answer to losing Beau O’Neal’s inside defense and rebounding. John Capps will take the role of having the most size on the team as a senior after setting out last year due to transfer rule for private schools.

On Saturday Subiaco will travel to Fort Smith Southside to play the Mavericks in a benefit game starting at noon. Next Tuesday, Nov. 14, the Trojans open their home season with a three-game night against the Dardanelle Sandlizards starting at 5 p.m. with senior junior varsity, followed by junior high and tghe high school varisty.

On Thursday, Nov. 16, Subiaco travels to Van Buren to take on a very tough Pointer team. The junior varisty game will start at 5 p.m. After a break for Thanksgiving, the Trojans will resume play Nov. 28.
