First-year coach Paris Jordan Devine’s squad opens a two-game conference home swing today against Booneville. The Lady Eagles (12-1, 4-0) haven’t lost since dropping a 2-1 decision to Alma in the finals of a late August tournament.

Paris has been so hot, in fact, the squad hasn’t dropped a set while winning five straight matches, including last week’s hard-fought 25-18, 31-29, 25-21 win over Mansfield.

Strong back-row defense has been a key for the Lady Eagles, with junior defensive specialist Robyn Gossard leading the team in digs. Senior Joni Inman has played well, averaging 4.3 kills per set while delivering 20 aces and contributing 46 digs.

Senior Ryleigh Hardwicke leads Paris with 121 kills.
