Paris returned to the 3A semifinals by beating Piggott in five sets, 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-8.
The Eagles will have a rematch against Fountain Lake, a team they beat last year to make the 3A title game.
In a back-and-fourth game, Paris jumped to 7-1 lead in the first game behind the serving of reserve Destiny Mantooth.
"We were having some trouble with consistency in our service game and I asked Destiny to just go in and get the ball in," Paris coach Wes Davis said. "She did a great job coming off the bench in a pressure situation."
Shenny Martines also served two aces to help put the game away and had four during the match.
Hitting was consistent as Daisy Mitchell recorded 18 kills, Jakyra Austin finished with 16 kills and Peevy had 15 kills. Morgan Highfield had 25 digs and strong night passing the ball.
Mansfield (32-3) moved back to the 3A State Tournament semifinals by sweeping Hoxie, 25-12, 25-22, 25-17.
Kaylie Pyles had 17 kills, Erin Reano finished with 12 kills, Erica McKay had 22 assists and Mallory Ward served five aces.
"We came out strong in that first set, and in the second set they were doing a lot of tipping the ball instead of hitting and it threw us off a little bit," Mansfield coach April Howell said. "It can be frustrating when the other team does that, but you just have to make an adjustment. I thought we did a good job of staying calm and staying focused."
Mansfield will play at 4 p.m. today against Alpena, which is hosting the tournament at Harrison.
"We didn’t get to see them a lot because they were playing at the same time, but I think they are going to try to play a lot of defense and tip the ball a lot," Howell said. "We just have to stay focused and get the ball to our hitters in a good position to attack."
