Paris Elementary School will have pre-registration for Kindergarten students who will be attending school in the fall Thursday and Friday.

If you have a child who will be five on or before Aug. 1 you will need to make plans to attend one of the days of registration. Registration will be from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. each day at Paris Elementary School.

You will need to bring the following documents with you at registration:

A state certified birth certificate. If your child was born in the state of Arkansas and you do not have a certificate, applications will be avaiable to fill out.

An updated immunization record. Even if your student is in need of an immunization before fall, the school will still need a copy of his or her current immunization record. You may bring the updated record to the school during the summer before school starts.

Your child’s Social Security card.

A health physical. Forms are available in the school office. Physicals do not have to be done before registration but will need to be taken care of before school starts.

To speed up the process you may come by the office to pick up the paperwork and have it ready when you come in for registration. If for some reason you are unable to attend registration, please call the office so that they may at least get your child’s name on the class list for next year.

For more information, call the school office at 963-3143 during regular school hours.
