The Union School Heritage Center will sponsor an art workshop for six weeks at the school beginning Thursday, Sept. 12.

The classes will be on Thursday nights from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The school is located at 2158 Union Road in the Paris area.

The classes will be taught by Ellen Faulkner, who has many years experience teaching the Donna Dewberry method of one stroke painting. The first night’s project will be painting two flower pots as students learn the techniques. Everyone will paint at their own speed so no former painting experience is necessary.

Don’t be too concerned if you haven’t had a chance to obtain the paints or brushes needed. The Ozark Walmart has a better selection of paint and brushes and there will have some available for purchase. The classes will be $75 for the six weeks.

Please call Faulkner at 206-1023 or Linda Hamilton at 264-7134 to register or for further information.
