It’s time for the Arkansas River Valley Tri-Peaks Tourism Association to once again hold its Annual

Membership Banquet and Awards Ceremony. The banquet is set for Tuesday, April 9, 2018 at

6:30pm. It will be held at the Mt Nebo State Park Pavilion, 16728 State Hwy 155, Dardanelle, AR. The banquet will attract top business tourism community leaders throughout the region - six

counties. We will celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and hear from guest speaker,

local baseball historian Jim Yeager. Mr. Yeager is the author of Backroads and Ballplayers,

released in October, 2018, which features more than 50 stories and biographical chapters on the

lives of professional baseball players from rural Arkansas.

The format of the upcoming event includes a silent auction (to benefit a college student with a

scholarship), dinner and presentation from Jim Yeager as well as awarding one recipient from

each of the 6 counties for their endeavors of tourism within our Region. The overall Charlie

Johnson Award will also be awarded at the event.

The Tri-Peaks Association invites all Tri-Peaks members and the public to attend the Annual

Membership Evening. Tickets to the banquet are $25.00 each and are open to the public. They

are available at the Arkansas River Valley Tri-Peaks office (708 West Main, Russellville, Arkansas –

inside the Chamber of Commerce). Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

Join us for this great opportunity to meet and partner with tourism industries within our area.

We hope to see you there!
