The Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus Medical Assisting program has been named #1 in the 7 best Medical Assistant Programs in Arkansas for 2019, by MedicalAssistantAdvice.com.

ATU-Ozark’s Medical Assisting Program is housed at Morton Hall, in Russellville, Arkansas. ATU-Ozark offers a two-year program that ranked 92.6 with Medical Assistant Advice.

“You can become a competent medical assistant by completing the 2-year MA program offered at Arkansas Tech University. The 60-credit hour coursework is spread into four semesters (two fall and two spring) and a five-week summer session which includes clinical practicum and seminar. Full-time students need to spend 30-36 hours each week on theoretical studies, laboratory training or fieldwork. Graduates can sit for the CMA exam and take their career to the next level.
