Governor Asa Hutchinson proclaimed October 14-18 as Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas.
There are currently 140 Chamber of Commerce offices in Arkansas that work with businesses, non-profits, banks, industry, and merchants to advance the civic, economic, professional, and cultural life for Arkansas.
Arkansas Chamber of Commerce members provides citizens a healthy business environment that increases employment, retail trade and commerce, and industrial growth to make Arkansas a better place to live and conduct business.
Governor Hutchinson said that Arkansas Chamber of Commerce’s foster growth for existing businesses and encourage new businesses to relocate to Arkansas, acting as a liaison between the business community, education and government.
Paris Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director wants to invite the community to a Chamber Chat Coffee on Friday, October 18, from 9-10 a.m. at the chamber office.
“I encourage the community to stop by and learn more about what we do. There will also be a few fun things going on during the week with prizes to members.”
Paris City Mayor Daniel Rogers will sign a proclamation on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the PACC proclaiming Chamber of Commerce week for the city of Paris.
The community is invited to attend.
