To get everyone in the Halloween spirit, several businesses are coming together again in Paris to host the Fall Fest Trick-or-Treat Around the Square. Monsters, princesses and caped crusaders will invade the Downtown Square in Paris — and local businesses will be ready with candy!

The annual event, hosted by the PACC, invites trick-or-treaters and their families to visit booths by business owners on the square and representatives from city departments who will be ready to hand out treats.

The event will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Kids can enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed games and activities while treat or treating around the square.

Children and families can expect to enjoy carnival games, bounce houses, train rides and food, including hot dogs, chips, cotton candy and drinks.

PACC Executive Director Tonya Baumgartner said, “We have had over 3000 in attendance in the past when the weather is good. Last year due to rain and we probably had about 1500.”

The event is free and open to the public.
