The Subiaco Academy soccer team started their season with three wins in the first week of play.

The Trojans played host to Bentonville’s LifeWay Christian School on March 2 and defeated the Warriors by a score of 6-0.

Aidan Everett and Jacob Friemel each scored three goals and Justin Luidens provided four assists. David Menjivar had seven saves in goal for the victory.

The Cossatot River Eagles from southwest Arkansas traveled to Subiaco on March 4. The Trojans defense stymied the Eagle offense and allowed only one shot on goal in the 5-0 shutout victory. Javier Iglehart scored two goals and Aidan Everett, Arturo Jaime, and Justin Luidens each scored one goal.

The Trojans faced conference foe Gentry on March 6 with a slow start, with Gentry providing stubborn resistance in the first half with the score knotted at 1-1 at halftime. The Trojans offense found their rhythm in the second half by scoring six goals while shutting out the Pioneers.

Aidan Everett scored five goals and Justin Luidens scored two goals while providing three assists in the 7-1 win.
