A Delaware resident has reported the theft of a shotgun, a .22 caliber single shot rifle, a guitar and a banjo on Oct. 14, according to a Logan County Sheriff’s Department incident report.

The missing shotgun was identified as a Savage .410 with a steel butt plate.

The exterior door to the garage on the south side of the property was found partially opened and a window was found broken out, according to the report. A small pry bar was found lying on the window sill, the report states.

Inside the garage, approximately three feet from the door, a plastic bag containing magazine for a rifle was found. The homeowner stated that those items were placed inside the house.

The shotgun was taken from underneath a mattress in the bedroom, according to incident reports. The rifle, banjo and guitar were taken from a closet in the bedroom, reports state.
