The prospect of an all-Logan County final game in the Class A State Tournament at Harrision evaporated Tuesday as the County Line boys and the Scranton boys each lost semifinal matchups.

County Line fell to Wonderview 56-38 and Scranton lost to Concord, 50-32.

County Line was able to withstand a 13-0 Wonderview run in the first half of Tuesday’s semifinal game.

They weren’t, however, able to overcome a 14-0 run in the third quarter. The Daredevils (27-8) held County Line to just 14 second-half points while reaching this week’s championship game against Concord.

"We went cold shooting the ball in the third quarter, and we made one perimeter shot the whole game," County Line coach Joe Brunson said. "I’m very pleased with all we accomplished this year, though. To go 31-8 and reach the semifinals, that’s says a lot."

County Line led 28-27 in the third when the Daredevils went on their second big run to seize control.
