Like most everyone, the Subiaco Academy Trojans lost another week of play to the weather. Hopefully, mother nature will cooperate and the Cyclone Classic will take place this week in Russellville.

To this point, the Trojans have taken the court only three times with games against Southside, Rogers Heritage and Van Buren. If the weather does indeed calm down, the Trojans will play five games in less than a week, with Mena on Tuesday, followed by the Cyclone Classic Thursday through Saturday, and ending with Pottsville at home on Monday Dec. 16.

Subiaco Academy will face always tough Arkadelphia, Thursday in Russellville at 4 p.m. A win would put the Trojans facing host Russellville at 8:30 p.m. Friday. A loss would have the Trojans playing the 5:30 p.m. game. After the three games in three days at Russellville, Subiaco will play host to the State Champion Pottsville Apaches on Monday the Dec. 16, and their outstanding point guard, Michael Perry. The night will begin with a JV game at 5 p.m., followed by a Junior High game with the high school game following.
